-About Me-

Photographing Theriso Gorge, Crete

I love photography, animals, and travel…  Aside from that important information, I am from the beautiful state of Maine, spent a few years living in eastern Nebraska, and just moved for work to the county of Suffolk in England in the summer of 2013.  Conveniently, work keeps bringing me for periods of time to what has become my favorite place in the world, Crete.  All these amazing opportunities, that I’ve been so lucky to get, have provided me with the opportunity to travel and see so much already.  I take full advantage of 3 or 4 day weekends to travel (flights are so much cheaper here than in the US), and I plan out some occasional  extended vacations as well.

I’ve managed to see a large portion of the Midwest of the United States (back when I was in Nebraska).  Explored most of western Crete and am now as familiar with it as the back of my hand.  My time in the UK has been spent eagerly checking places off the list in here and in Europe, and with a short hop down to Morocco as well.  I won’t get thoroughly into my plans, that would be far too much for you to read, but the next half a year or so is going to be busy with more time in Crete, Tuscany, Morocco, and country hopping throughout Southeast Asia…  I’ll be busy!

All of these adventures, and pictures I keep bringing back, has led to me to want to try out blogging, and sharing my trips, stories, photos, and advice with anyone and everyone who might wish to see any of these places…  But, I am busy with work, and with the amount of travel I squeeze in during my downtime, so if posts come slowly, please be patient with me!  Eventually, all of the places I’ve named above will appear on here…   Eventually…  In the meantime, if you have questions about an area, don’t hesitate to ask!  It’s the whole point of this blog!
